US Navy
We were all sitting ducks.  I saw the Arizona go up.  The Oklahoma rolled over alongside of us.  I did know a few people on all the battleships and 2-3 cruisers.  There is not a day in my life that I don't think of those sailors that lost their lives that day and I have no compassion for the Japs to this day.

I went on to retire from the Navy in 1960 (1 battleship, 4 carriers, 7 minesweepers, 1 AKA, 1 Icebreaker).  About the only place I didn't hit was Rangoon and Singapore.  All over the orient including China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, South Pole and North Pole.  I would do it again.  I probably resent the fact that I'm so old and I can't do it again.  There are a lot of others that feel the same way.
