USS Pennsylvania

I was a Gunner's mate aboard the USS Pennsylvania, Flag ship of the fleet.  The morning of December 7, 1941, I saw our sister ship, the USS Arizona blow up.  No one can ever know the sadness that we felt, knowing that so many lies had been taken in a split second.  The attack has left all of the survivors with a memory that never goes away.  In our meetings, we never talk about the attack, only that America must be kept strong and never let something like this happen again.  Our regret now is, that it has.
